Conjoint analysis is a great tool for new product development. I used it and other traditional analytics for years. However, in 1997 I created a new predictive model that will ensure an 83.8% success rate for a new product launch to market. This model is dependent on 4 degrees of separation times another 4 degrees of separation. It is four dimensional with another 4 degrees of separation. This model is called NOVOtrix 4, which was 7+ years in development and works great with CPG products. I am currently working with several intangible service products that at this point are generating a +87% success rate for product launch in a mature industry niche.
Anyone who needs additional information, please email me.

I would like to see a case study where you have used Conjoint Analysis.

I think the level of preference of consumer for a specific product/service can also be determined by studying simple frequency distribution and rank scores...

How conjoin analysis will give a better result?
